Westinghouse Electric Company: Laura Livingston president of WesDyne

Westinghouse Electric CompanyJanuary 8, 2010, Pittsburgh, Pa., USA - Westinghouse Electric Company announced that Laura A. Livingston has been named president of WesDyne International, a Westinghouse's subsidiary.
Ms. Livingston assumes the role after serving three and a half years as the vice president of Customer Relations and Sales, Westinghouse, responsible for direct customer interface with Exelon and Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) in Illinois. A Westinghouse employee since 1981, Ms. Livingston brings extensive management and engineering experience to her new position. Ms. Livingston has served as business manager, sales and projects manager and senior fuel projects engineer for the Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel business unit.

Ms. Livingston holds a bachelor's degree in metallurgical and material science engineering and a master's degree in industrial engineering specializing in engineering management, both from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a Master Customer First Leader (MCFL), the Westinghouse continuous improvement initiative that employs tools as Six Sigma, Human Performance, Lean Enterprise and Behavioral Differentiation.
