TT electronics appoints Jack Boyer as non-executive director

Jack BoyerJune 13, 2016, Weybridge, United Kingdom - TT electronics, a provider of performance critical technology solutions, announced that Jack Boyer has joined the board as a non-executive director.
On July 7, 2016, Mr. Boyer will become a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committees.

Mr. Boyer is an experienced CEO, Chairman and Director of public and private companies in the engineering, telecommunications and biotechnology sectors. He is a Non-Executive Director of Mitie Group plc and the Chairman of the Academies Enterprise Trust.

Until April 2016, Mr. Boyer was a Non-Executive Director of Laird PLC (where he was also Chairman of the Remuneration Committee) and previously the Chairman of Ilika plc.

He is also a Member of Council of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and is Deputy Chair of the Advanced Materials Leadership Council.

Mr. Boyer has been an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and strategy consultant at Bain & Co. He was awarded an OBE in 2015 for services to Science and Engineering.

John Shakeshaft will retire from the Board on August 31, 2016.

He has served as a member of the Board since 2007 and is the Senior Independent Non-executive Director.

Mr. Shakeshaft is currently Chairman of Ludgate Environmental Fund Limited; Chairman of The Economy Bank NV; Chair of the Investment Committee of Corestone, AG; Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Kinnevik AB; and Chairman of Valiance Investment Funds.

Mr. Shakeshaft is former Managing Director at ABN AMRO and Lazard Brothers, having held senior positions within Barings, Morgan Stanley and Morgan Grenfell. He joined the City in 1986 following a number of overseas postings with HM Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
