Simon Costa new director of Highcroft Investments

Highcroft InvestmentsHighcroft Investments plc announced the appointment of Charles Simon Arthur Costa as senior independent director.
Mr. Costa will chair the audit and remuneration committees and will be a member of the nomination committee.

Mr. Costa's experience in financial markets has spanned both the USA and the UK, where he has held senior positions at Prudential Securities and Lehman Brothers in their Mergers & Acquisitions divisions. Subsequently, he founded CapStone Property LLC operating out of Virginia, which specialised in refurbishing residential properties.

Following the sale of CapStone, Mr. Costa returned to the UK in 2011 and now holds a senior finance position at one of Oxford University's colleges, where he oversees the management of the endowment and manages all financial, budgeting and accounting functions.

He is also a trustee of Newman University, Birmingham, and has served on its audit and finance committees.

Mr. Costa has a BSSc in Banking & Finance from Birmingham University and an MPhil in Management from Oxford University.
