Sears Canada announces departure of CFO

December 27, 2012, Toronto, ON, Canada - Sears Canada Inc., a retailer, announced that Sharon R. Driscoll, senior vice-president and chief financial officer, will be resigning from the company, effective January 4, 2013.
Ms. Driscoll has been the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Sears Canada Inc., since December 21, 2010. Ms. Driscoll served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Sears Canada Inc., from October 2008 to December 21, 2010. Ms. Driscoll was employed with Loblaw Companies Limited in 1987, she served as Senior Vice President of Finance and National Merchandising of Loblaw Companies Limited.
She served as Senior Vice-President of Corporate Development & Finance National Merchandising and Vice-President of Finance for Loblaws Supermarkets Limited. Ms. Driscoll holds a CA (Chartered Accountant) designation and earned her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen's University. ■
