Rao Qamar Suleman new CEO of Pakistan International Airlines

Rao Qamar SulemanPakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced that it has named Air Chief Marshal (Retd) Rao Qamar Suleman as the chairman and chief executive officer.
Mr. Suleman joined Pakistan International Airlines as Managing Director in March 2012.

He joined Pakistan Air Force in 1972 and graduated in 1975.

He had been a fighter Pilot, a qualified Flying Instructor and has served as Instructor Pilot in various training and operational institutions of PAF.

Mr. Suleman has vast experience of command and staff assignments at various tiers.

He has commanded PAF from March 2009 till March 2012, where he managed over 600 aircraft, more than 80,000 personnel and all other resources of PAF.

Mr. Suleman is a graduate of PAF Air War College and the National Defence University.

In recognition of his Services, he has been decorated with Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, Sitara-i-Basalat, Sitara-i-Imitaz and Hilal-i-Imtiaz.

Mr. Suleman is Chairman of Skyrooms and Member of CAA Board.
