PPL Montana Chief Operating Officer to retire

PPL MontanaJune 25, 2009, Billings, Mont., USA - PPL Montana, an energy company, announces that Brad Spencer, vice president and chief operating officer will retire September 30.
Mr. Spencer earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Oregon State University and is a registered professional engineer. Mr. Spencer has 38 years of experience in the electricity generation business, starting with a generation engineer position at the Trojan nuclear plant inOregon. He came to PPL Montana from Constellation Operating Services, where he served as vice president for Western Operations, with responsibility for eight power plants in California, Utah, Nevada and Hawaii. In his years at Constellation, he also served as business development manager and plant manager for two generating facilities.
