New Jersey Chamber of Commerce president & CEO joins Solix board

November 6, 2013, Parsippany, N.J., USA - The Solix, Inc., a provider of government and commercial process outsourcing solutions, appoints New Jersey Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Thomas A. Bracken to the company’s board.
A veteran of the banking and financial services industry, Mr. Bracken has more than 40 years of experience in the sector including serving as president of TriState Capital Bank’s New Jersey Operations.

Prior to that, he served as Sun Bancorp’s President and CEO and also held executive positions with First Union Bank.

Mr. Bracken, named president and CEO at the Chamber in 2011, has been involved with the state’s business advocacy organization for more than 30 years and served its Board of Directors as chairman from 2005 to 2007. He is a former chairman of the Economic Development Corporation of Trenton and New Jersey Bankers Association.

A graduate of Bucknell, Mr. Bracken currently serves the Finance Committee of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey Foundation, as a board member of Public Media NJ and New Jersey Alliance for Action Foundation as chairman.
