McBride appoints John Coleman as chairman elect

McBrideApril 26, 2016, London, United Kingdom - McBride, a supplier of private label household and personal care products, announced the appointment of John Coleman as a non-executive director and chairman elect.
Mr. Coleman, appointed in July 2007, is Chairman of Bonmarche Holdings and M Video as well as of the private company, Barchester Healthcare. From 2008 to 2015 he was Chairman of Aga Rangemaster Group. He was also Senior Independent Director whilst at Travis Perkins plc between 2005 and 2014.

Mr. Coleman was CEO of House of Fraser between 1996 and 2006 and CEO of Texas Homecare, a part of Ladbrokes plc, between 1993 and 1995. Prior to this he was a member of the senior management team at the Burton Group, holding managing director roles for a number of its fashion chains.

The company also said that Iain Napier's decided to retire as Chairman on June 30, 2016.

Mr. Napier is Chairman of the Nomination and member of the Remuneration sub-committees. He was Group Chief Executive of Taylor Woodrow plc from 2002 to 2006, Chief Executive of Bass Leisure and then Chief Executive of Bass Brewers and Bass International Brewers.

Following the sale of the Bass beer business in 2000, Mr. Napier was Vice President UK and Ireland for Interbrew SA until August 2001. He is Chairman of Imperial Tobacco Group plc and John Menzies plc, and a non-executive director of William Grant & Sons Holdings Limited and Molson Coors Brewing Company.
