Leading Edge Aviation Services promotes Chris Harano to CEO

Chris HaranoLeading Edge Aviation Services announced that it has promoted Chris Harano from president to chief executive officer.
Mr. Harano originally joined Leading Edge to spearhead the company's strategic growth into new Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and manufacturing markets both domestically and globally.

Previously, he was President of InsulTech.

Prior to that, he was CFO of Day Software AG, a company that was purchased by Adobe Systems.

Mr. Harano holds a master's degree from the Sloan School of Management at MIT and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

The company also announced that it has appointed Daniel Zeddy as its Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Zeddy has more than 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, human resources and information technology as well as 20 years of experience in lean manufacturing programs.

He holds a master's degree in business from Michigan State University and a bachelor's in Business Administration from Wayne State University.

The company also announced that its founder and former chief executive officer Mike Manclark will remain with the company as non-executive Chairman.

Mr. Manclark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and attended business school at Chapman College in California.

Mr. Manclark serves as an active Commissioner in the Orange County Sheriffs Department, is a licensed Commercial Multi Engine Pilot, on the Advisory Board for Victorville International Airport and sits on the Board of Directors for Leading Edge Holdings.
