Lansdowne Oil & Gas director Steven Bertram resigns

Lansdowne Oil & GasSeptember 11, 2012, Dublin, Ireland - Lansdowne Oil & Gas, an oil and gas exploration company, announced the resignation of non-executive director Steven Bertram, effective immediately.
Mr. Bertram is Commercial Director of SeaEnergy and has been with the company since 1986. He was appointed to the board as Finance Director in 1991. He has a background in oil and oil services companies gained through his time with Ramco (now SeaEnergy) and during his chartered accountancy training contracts.

Mr. Bertram has been involved with the company from its original USM listing through its move to AIM and its international offer and listing on the American Stock Exchange. He has an MA Honours degree in Economics with Accountancy from Aberdeen University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Young in 1984.

The Company also announces that it has appointed John Aldersey-Williams to the board as a Non-Executive Director, effective immediately.

Mr. Aldersey-Williams has worked in the energy business for more than 25 years. In 2001, he founded consultancy Redfield Consulting Limited. He was also a founder Director of Reach Exploration Limited, and prior to that, he held a number of commercial and technical roles in the upstream oil industry, as well as three years in a specialist energy corporate finance team in a merchant bank.

Mr. Aldersey-Williams currently serves as a director at SeaEnergy, Return to Scene Limited, and Redfield Consulting Limited. He previously served as a director at Repsol Nuevas, Reach Exploration, The European Marine Energy Centre, SeaEnergy Offshore Wind, and CCL Realisations.
