John Lewis appoints two directors

John LewisFebruary 10, 2014, London, United Kingdom - The John Lewis Partnership, a retail business, announced that Denis Hennequin and Keith Williams are to join the board as non-executive directors, effective March 1, 2014.
Mr. Hennequin began his career at McDonald's, becoming President of McDonald's Europe in 2005 where he was responsible for 6,600 restaurants in 40 countries. He was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Accor, the worldwide hotel group, until 2013. He became a non-executive directorof Eurostarin 2012.

Mr. Williams, British Airways' chief executive, joined the airline in 1998, and became British Airways' group treasurer and head of tax. His previous employers included Apple, Arthur Andersen and Boots plc.

Mr. Williams is a graduate of Liverpool University, where he obtained a first class honours degree in history and archaeology. He is also a non-executive board member for Transport for London.
