Eurogas director Derek Buntain resigns

EurogasJanuary 23, 2014, Toronto, ON, Canada - Eurogas International Inc., an oil and natural gas exploration company, announces that Derek Buntain has resigned as a director of the corporation.
Mr. Buntain served as the President of Dundee Corp., and its subsidiary, The Dundee Bank. Mr. Buntain started his career in 1964 at Burns Bros and Denton Lt. as a Research Analyst and served as its Director of Research from 1970 to 1972 and its Director of Equity Finance for Merrill Lynch Canada Inc., from 1984 to 1987.

He served as the President of Canadian Express Ltd., from 1987 to 1989 and of Goodman & Company (Bermuda) Ltd. since 1996. Mr. Buntain has more than 30 years experience in Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions and International Business in the acquisitions, with Burns Bros., and Merrill Lynch Canada Inc. He served as Vice Chairman of Targa International Limited from 1993 to 1996 and Chairman of Pythonic Trading Company Limited from 1989 to 1993.

He serves as a Director at Arabia-Asia Capital Alliance Limited. Mr. Buntain has been a Director of Cencotech Inc., since February 21, 1997, Dundee Precious Metals Inc., since 1993, Calibre Energy Inc. since October 2006, High Liner Foods Inc. since August 2006 and Eurogas Corp., since April 18, 1984.

He serves as a Director of Sentex Systems Ltd. He served as a Director of Natunola Health Biosciences Inc. from June 16, 2005 to March 10, 2011, Diversinet Corp. since July 2003 and Extendicare Inc., since April 26, 1995. He served as a Director of Eurogas International Inc., from April 18, 1994 to January 21, 2014. He served as a Director of Assisted Living Concepts Inc. from 2006 to July 11, 2013.

Mr. Buntain is a fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute. He holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, USA. He has also achieved the professional designation of FCSI from the Canadian Securities Institute.
