Director Yogeshwar Sharma to resign from Hardy Oil and Gas

Hardy Oil GasSeptember 2, 2014, Aberdeen, United Kingdom - Hardy Oil and Gas, an oil and gas company, announces that Yogeshwar Sharma, non-executive director, has informed the board of his decision to step down as a director from September 30, 2014.
Mr. Sharma, a co-founder of Hardy, has more than 40 years of broad international oil and gas industry experience, with particular emphasis in reservoir engineering and field management.

Prior to founding Hardy, he worked at Schlumberger Doll Research in the USA, and Elf Geoscience Research Centre in London. While with Elf International he was an external examiner at Heriot Watt University for three years.

Mr. Sharma completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alberta in Mechanical Engineering and postgraduate studies at the University of Calgary in Chemical Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Alberta, Canada, a full member of the SPE and a member of the Society of Applied Industrial Mathematics.

Mr. Sharma has published articles on reservoir engineering and reservoir modelling in the Journal of Petroleum Engineering. He is a non-executive director of Longreach Oil and Gas Ventures Limited.
