Director Andrew Morris resigns from Madagascar Oil

Madagascar OilNovember 15, 2013, Hamilton, Bermuda - Madagascar Oil announced that Andrew Morris, non-executive chairman, has, at the direction of Persistency Private Equity Limited, resigned from the board and as non-executive chairman.
Mr. Morris has extensive international business experience and sits on the Board of several companies, ranging from early stage resource companies to emerging technology companies. He was founder of Persistency Capital, where he has acted as both investor in, and adviser to, companies across a broad range of sectors and geographies.

Mr. Morris became a director of Madagascar Oil in October 2008 and his other current directorships include serving as Executive Chairman of Blake Oil and Gas Limited, which has operations in the country of Georgia, Chairman of Kriisa Research Inc, Director of Southwest Energy Ltd, and Director of Falcon Oil and Gas Ltd.

Previously, Mr. Morris spent 15 years in the financial services industry, including being a Director of Ernst & Young in London.

He holds a BSc (Hons.) degree in Mathematics from Bristol University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
