DekelOil appoints Orli Arav as director

DekelOilAugust 20, 2014, London, United Kingdom - DekelOil Public Limited, an operator and 51% owner of a palm oil project in Cote d'Ivoire, announced that Orli Arav has been appointed as non-executive director with immediate effect.
Ms. Arav has worked in Africa through her position as Head of the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF) at Frontier Markets Fund Managers. Ms. Arav has also held roles in the project finance divisions of global accountancy firms PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young. She is currently a director of Tel Aviv University Trust UK and Global Sustainable AgroForestry Fund (member of the advisory board).

Richard Kouassi Amon, the Company's current non-executive director, will step down from the board, however he will continue to advise the Company as a consultant.

Mr. Amon is a member of the Royal family of Abengorou, part of the Agny which is one of the largest ethnic group in Cote d'Ivoire. He is a former Notary and is a co-founder of DekelOil and in addition, is a director of various companies within the DekelOil group. He holds a law degree from Montpellier University, France. He is president of Star Energy SA.
