Dapper: James Beriker new president, CEO, director

James BerikerFebruary 13, 2010, San Francisco, Ca., USA - Dapper, a dynamic ad creation and optimization company, announced that James Beriker has been named president and chief executive officer and appointed to the board of directors.
Mr. Beriker most recently served as President & CEO of Efficient Frontier, a global technology leader in search engine marketing with over $750 million in spend under management. Prior to Efficient Frontier, Mr. Beriker held Vice President, Senior Vice President and General Manager positions at ValueClick, a provider of online marketing technology and services.

Previously, Mr. Beriker was the founder and CEO of Search123, one of the first pay-per-click search engine marketing platforms that launched in October 2000 and was acquired by ValueClick in May 2003. Prior to Search123, he practiced corporate and securities law in Los Angeles, representing early and mid-stage technology companies and entrepreneurs.

Eran Shir, co-founder and former President & CEO, has been appointed Chief Technical Officer and will continue to be responsible for Dapper's product and engineering organization.

Mr. Shir, cofounder and CEO until now, is a Technion physics masters graduate. Prior to Dapper, Mr. Shir founded and steered a large-scale, internationally acclaimed Internet research project called DIMES. Earlier, Mr. Shir co-founded and served as the chief technology officer of Cogniview.
