CFO Nicholas Cadbury leaving Premier Farnell

Premier FarnellSeptember 4, 2012, Leeds, United Kingdom - Premier Farnell, a distributor of products and services to engineers, announced that Nicholas Cadbury is leaving the company and that he will be succeeded as CFO by Mark A. Whiteling.
Mr. Cadbury has been Chief Financial officer of the company since September 2011. He served as the Group Finance Director for DSG International, and as General Manager of PC City Italy, a subsidiary of DSG International which he joined in 1993. Mr. Cadbury served in various roles including Finance and Commercial Director of PC World and Managing Director of Dixons Tax Free.

Mr. Cadbury served as Finance Director for the International Electricals operations. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse.

Mr. Whiteling served as the Chief Financial Officer of Premier Farnell from 2006 to 2011, and has also was Group Finance Director of Premier Farnell. He served as the Group Finance Director of Communisis, Group Finance Director of Tibbett & Britten Group, and prior to that as Chief Financial Officer of the Food Equipment Division of the Europe and International division of Enodis.

Mr. Whiteling served with SmithKline Beecham in the USA and Europe. He trained as an accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in New Zealand, where he qualified as an ACA, and in the United States, where he qualified as a CPA. Mr. Whiteling graduated from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, with a Master of Commerce 1st Class Honours. He is as both a New Zealand ACA and an American Certified Public Accountant.
