Cairn Homes appoints three independent non-executive directors

Cairn HomesCairn Homes, a homebuilding company, announced the appointment of three new independent non-executive directors, Jayne McGivern, Linda Hickey and David O'Beirne.
Jayne McGivern is currently global EVP of Development and Construction for Madison Square Garden plc, where she is responsible for overseeing all new venue development projects in addition to management of the Company's planned MSG Sphere venues in Las Vegas and London.

Ms. McGivern former roles include Divisional Managing Director at Redrow plc, CEO of the European Division of Multiplex plc and Managing Director of Anschutz Entertainment Group in London, during its acquisition and redevelopment of the O2.

She most recently led her own private property investment vehicle, Red Grouse.

Ms. McGivern's current roles include serving as a non-executive member of the board of Skanska AB and as Board Chair of the UK Ministry of Defence Infrastructure Organisation.

Ms. McGivern is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Linda Hickey is currently Head of Corporate Broking at Goodbody Stockbrokers, where she has worked since 2004, and from which she will be retiring in April 2019.

Previously, Ms. Hickey worked at NCB Stockbrokers and Merrill Lynch.

Ms. Hickey has been, and continues to be, an independent non-executive Director at Kingspan Group plc since 2013 and is currently Chair of the Board of The Irish Blood Transfusion Service.

She brings significant capital markets and corporate governance expertise across many sectors, including real estate, to the Board.

David O'Beirne is a former Managing Partner of the international law firm Eversheds Sutherland, Dublin, is also a former Head of the firm's Corporate and Commercial Department and is currently a Partner in its Corporate & Commercial Department.

Mr. O'Beirne brings to the Board almost 40 years' experience in advising on significant domestic and international transactions alongside a depth of expertise in commercial and company law.

Mr. O'Beirne does not hold, and has not in the past 5 years held, a directorship in any other publicly quoted company.
