Alberta Oilsands: vice president Chad Dust resigns

Alberta OilsandsJuly 7, 2010, Calgary, AB, Canada - Alberta Oilsands announced that Chad Dust, executive vice president, finance and business development, has resigned.
Mr. Dust has significant oil and gas financial market expertise and was key to the transformation of Platform Resources Inc. to Alberta Oilsands Inc.

Mr. Dust is experienced in a vast spectrum of energy-related assignments, including private equity, investment management, corporate and investment banking, corporate evaluations and acquisitions, asset divestures, and a wide array of other debt and equity-related transactions.

Prior to joining Alberta Oilsands Inc., Mr. Dust held positions of increasing responsibility at Alberta Treasury Branches Energy Banking, Kern Energy Partners and ARC Financial.

Mr. Dust holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance from the University of Saskatchewan.
