Agora Oil & Gas: Bengt Lie Hansen new non-executive director

Bengt Lie HansenOctober 9, 2010, Stavanger, Norway - Agora Oil & Gas announced that Bengt Lie Hansen has been appointed as a non-executive director.
Mr. Hansen has more than 35 years experience from the oil industry. Until this summer he served as president of Statoil in Russia where he was working on the giant Shtokman project.

Mr. Hansen has been the Head of Russia Operations of Norsk Hydro ASA since January 1, 2007. Mr. Hansen has been Heading the Shtokman project in Russia since September 2004. He has been employed at Norsk Hydro since 1983. He served as the President of Statoil Russia.

Mr. Hansen also served in different executive positions in Norsk Hydro from 1983 to 2006, including Vice President Finance and Control, E&P Division, Senior Vice President Mid and Northern Norway responsible for the Ormen Lange Project, Senior Vice President International E&P.

Mr. Hansen also served as Vice President of Deminex from 1980 to 1983 and Head of Division Ministry of Petroleum from 1975 to 1980. Mr. Hansen serves as a Director of TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company L.P.

Mr. Hansen has a law degree and an MBA in Business and Administration and is employed as non-equity partner in the Oslo based law firm Selmer DA.
