20-20 Technologies appoints CEO

Mark GoldsteinFebruary 12, 2013, Laval, QC, Canada – 20-20 Technologies Inc., a software company, announced the appointment of Mark Goldstein as chief executive officer.
Mr. Goldstein has more than 30 years of experience in the software industry, most recently with Dassault Systemes, a software company. He served as CEO of Abaqus Inc., a supplier of advanced engineering analysis software from 2001 until 2005. After Abaqus was acquired by Dassault Systemes in 2005, he continued as CEO of its SIMULIA business unit until 2008.

He then served as a Dassault Systemes Executive Vice President with responsibility for select strategic growth and business development initiatives at the Dassault Systemes group and SIMULIA brand levels. Mr. Goldstein left Dassault Systemes in March 2012 to found Managing for Growth LLC, an advisory practice focused on assisting the CEOs and executive teams of mid-market, high technology companies.

Mr. Goldstein spent the first 21 years of his career at SDRC (now part of Siemens PLM), holding various strategic senior management positions. From 1997 to 2000 he was Vice-President of the Products Group. Between 1995 and 1997, he was Vice-President of the SDRC-Ford Program Office, responsible for all facets of SDRC’s relationship with Ford Motor Company.

Mr. Goldstein holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanics and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He is also a graduate of the AEA/Stanford Executive Institute and he serves on the Comet Solutions Board of Directors. Mr. Goldstein succeeds Tom Tiernan, who was appointed interim CEO in November 2012.
