Eternal design of BeoSound 6Dale Davies ▼ |
Bang & Olufsen introduced BeoSound 6, a beautifully shaped MP3 player. It doesn't follow its peers, it set the standards. BeoSound 6 looks like confident device that you can trust while its monolithic design suggests that it will last forever. And that means that in the real world it will play much, much longer than 20 dollars no-name device. The strong look of BeoSound 6 is emphasized with materials like stainless steel, scratch-resistant glass and silicone rubber. It has lacquered back surface, and a display of 128 x 160 pixels made of scratch-resistant glass. And if you are still afraid that you will scratch it, rest assured because the fine leather case comes with it.
BeoSound 6 delivers pure sound which I didn't hear on any other device. I admit that I rarely listen to MP3, I prefer CDs, but B&O shifts those compressed songs to a higher level. In B&O they said "due to its high performance on signal to noise playback", and I can agree. On contrary to some other devices, battery in BeoSound 6 will allow you 40 hours of pure joy.
Out of the range of products Bang & Olufsen introduced we'll say a word or two about new headset. It is called EarSet 2. This is Bluetooth headset, wireless and with ergonomic design. It uses two omni-directional microphones that block noise, filter it and send it to processing unit. The result: a really superb sound quality. Now, you can go to store. ■
