ZTE launched a dual-screen foldable smartphone in the United States, the Axon M with two 5.2-inch screens.

This Extended Mode lets you play games or watch your favorite shows on a larger screen, when and where you want to. You can share your screen: Sit across from your friends and watch the same content on one device. Simply fold the device in Mirror Mode and place it on a table for easy viewing from two separate sides while Traditional Mode gives you an everyday smartphone that’s easy to use and hold in one hand.

ZTE Axon MThe ZTE Axon M smartphone comes with a 5.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. The device is powered by 2.15GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the ZTE Axon M packs a 20-megapixel primary camera on the rear. The ZTE Axon M runs Android 7.1.2 and is powered by a 3180mAh non removable battery. It measures 150.80 x 71.60 x 12.10.

ZTE Axon MThe ZTE Axon M is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. It will also be available in China, Europe and Japan, and ZTE has partnered with major carriers and e-commerce platforms including AT&T, China telecom, JD.com, and NTT Docomo to market the model around the world.

ZTE Axon MZTE says that the 3,180mAh battery is designed to provide a full day’s use between charges, even with the second screen using more juice than a standard phone might. Those dual-screen capabilities come at an obvious cost, however, as the Axon M is 12.1mm thick and weighs 230 grams. Though the company stresses that it is not designed to be a replacement for the single-screen Axon 7, it will be priced similarly to other premium smartphones.
