Huawei Honor 4C
Smartphone   1.2GHz octa-core and HD display for low price

Huawei has launched its latest entry-level handset and it is offering a very good deal: the Honor 4C comes with a 720p display, 13MP camera and octa-core CPU for $128.

Huawei Honor 4CA bit of technical specs: 5-inch 720p display; 1.2GHz octa-core Cortex A53 CPU, Mali-T450 MP4 GPU; 2GB RAM, 8GB of memory, microSD slot for up to 32GB; 13MP camera, 5MP front camera; 2,550mAh battery; and Android 4.4 KitKat with Huawei's EMUI 3.0. The white coloured model looks more attractive than one in black. The device is easy to grip and the rear cover is removable. You will have to remove the rear cover to add in the microSD card or the dual SIMs.

Huawei Honor 4CThe Huawei Honor 4C borrowed a lot of inspiration from its elder sibling, the Honor 4X. It has similar design such as the textured plastic removable cover, the same position of the camera, similar flat edges and the list goes on. The device is 8.8mm thin and weighs around 162 grams which is not so bad. The overall build quality is good and the etched "honor" branding on the rear side and the silver coloured rim around the front face adds a bit of elegance to the device.

Huawei Honor 4CThe Honor 4C has a 5-inch 1280 x 720 pixel display and these days an HD display at this price has become a norm. The device has a pixel density of 294 ppi which is very good, and the picture is bright and vibrant. It attracts smudge marks and you will find yourself cleaning the display quite often but there are a looot of other devices with that "feature" so we won't take this for too bad. The display has an IPS panel so the viewing angles are great.

Huawei Honor 4CSpeaking about connectivity, tehre is dual 3G SIM, Wi-fi 802.11n, Wi-fi Direct, and Bluetooth 4.0. The new Huawei features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The rear camera uses a Sony BSI sensor and comes with an f/2.0 aperture lens. The user interface on the camera app is similar to what we had seen on the Honor 4X as well as the Honor 6 Plus. The 2550mAh battery on the Huawei Honor 4C is non removable but the capacity is very good and we think you won't have any problem with that.

In short, for a low price the Huawei Honor 4C has a lot of features, it is a well-designed device, a fast one, and will serve you very well day in, day out.
