The United States will provide $4.3 million in funding to support energy diversification in the Caribbean, said the State Department.
America Caribbean Prosperity Roundtable
The announcement of the funding was first made at the U.S. and Caribbean Prosperity Roundtable held in Miami, Florida, an event bringing together Caribbean ministers and U.S. executives from the private sector to spur investment, said the statement.
The roundtable also affirmed the U.S. government's commitment to beef up the security in Caribbean. ■
