The corresponding decision is stipulated in ministry order No. 1583 dated October 30, 2017. It comes into force on December 9, 2017.

As reported, in 2015 the SBU suspected Yuzhtrans of participating in the illegal scheme of coal exports from the uncontrolled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

According to the SBU, part of profit was used to finance the terrorist organizations, the so called Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic.

Yuzhtrans is part of South Coal Company group, which owns extractive assets in Rostov region of the Russian Federation. Yuzhtrans carries out supplies of anthracite to a number of Ukrainian enterprises, in particular Donbasenergo.
