Ukraine hopes to receive $300 million from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for gas purchases, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Volodymyr Demchyshyn has told reporters after a cabinet meeting.
Energy The agreement with the EBRD has not been signed for technical reasons
According to the minister, the failure to sign the agreement to provide money for gas purchases is also not related to the ongoing reform of Naftogaz Ukrainy.
"There is such a plan [the reform of the Naftogaz Ukrainy corporate governance] as a separate document, it is being discussed, but it is not part of this agreement," Demchyshyn stated. ■
