Turkey to U.S.: Give us knowledge or we’ll continue to buy Russian weapons

According to Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavushoglu, Washington must make a very serious compromise if it wants Turkey to stop buying Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, he learned quoting the minister.

Bloomberg quoted Chavushoglu as saying that the Turkish army needed modern weapons, far from its usual performance and capabilities, such as the Russian S-400.

“If you don’t want to buy other systems, then you have to sell us your know-how,” the minister said, referring to US Patriot systems.

“If you don’t, we will continue to buy from elsewhere,” he said with a great deal of irony against the United States and the West.
