Tunisia and France signed a bilateral cooperation deal worth 120 million euros (136 million U.S. dollars).

"The project aims at enhancing energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions by 41 percent by 2030," said Laadhari in an official statement.
"Tunisia is moving towards the alternative of renewable energies. We welcome the excellent cooperation between Tunisia and France, especially with French Agency for Development, main partner of Tunisia," said Laadhari.
Chausse reiterated the commitment of his organization to continue supporting Tunisia and its development projects in various sectors. ■
