Russian Duma
Relations   The Russian legislative addressed all parliament

The State Duma (Russia''s lower house of parliament) approved today a resolution rejecting the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade on Cuba.

The document, joining other 10 resolutions on previous occasions by the Duma, is aimed to the UN General Assembly, parliamentarians of all UN State members and international legislative organizations.

The Duma legislators condemn the policy of the U.S. government for more than 50 years against Cuba, stresses the resolution, unanimously adopted.

That policy remains against the interests of the Cuban and American people, and all humanity.

This is the longest running policy in the history of a system of sanctions to achieve illegitimate goals.

The Russian Lower House has expressed support for the Cuban people, which after resisting the limitations of humanitarian nature for many years, knew to preserve its freedom and sovereignty.

The Russian legislative addressed all parliaments of the world to demand the United States to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade to Cuba.
