Russia and China to go against Boeing and EuropeStaff writer ▼ | August 27, 2015
Russia and China may establish a so-called third pole of the world’s aviation industry after Boeing and the EU by uniting their markets, said Wu Xiandong, deputy CEO at China’s Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).
Aviation Russia, China may unite aviation industries
"Europe has created its aerospace and defense complex, the U.S. have their Boeing company. Markets of Russia and China are huge and may develop a new competitive aviation industry,” he said.
The suggestion was approved by the Russian partners.
“The two countries will contribute their technological and production potential. If the two countries’ governments provide active support, this task will be solved,” he said. ■
