Beyond the construction industry, manufacturing companies across Québec can also resume operations, provided that no more than 50 workers are present, plus half of the remainder per shift. Such companies will be authorized to resume operations without restriction starting May 25.
Ministers Boulet and Fitzgibbon took advantage of their visit to encourage all workers and entrepreneurs to return to work. They also stressed the importance of respecting the health measures put in place to allow construction sites and manufacturing companies to resume activities in complete safety.
Note however that this decision, supported by Québec's public health authorities, is subject to change depending on how the situation evolves in Québec. ■
