Relations Ahmed bin Hassan al-Hammadi:
He highlighted the countries that have provided appropriate conditions and made fruitful efforts to help the refugees.
After the gulf dispute erupted in June, Qatar organized a third coordination meeting to support the Syrian people, which resulted in pledges of 80.5 million dollars, and launched initiatives in the areas of education, al-Hammadi said.
The Syria donors group was established following the Second International Humanitarian Pledging Conference for Syria in Kuwait in 2014, which aims to establish a platform for major donors to discuss issues related to ensuring disbursement of pledges and strengthen humanitarian dialogue among donors. ■
