Poland: Slight slowdown in GDP growth expected

The November projection of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) should forecast a slight slowdown in GDP growth and slightly higher inflation, but not exceeding 3.5 percent y/y, NBP head Adam Glapiński said.

He added, however, that there is no reason to anticipate any change in policy or interest rates.

The inflation, according to the central bank, would rise temporarily, and in the middle of next year it "would return to the channel where it is now," Glapiński said.
