Nigeria approves concession of Lagos, Abuja airports

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says the Federal Government will soon concession three airports in Nigeria.

Professor Osinbajo who said this at the presidential quarterly business forum in Abuja on Monday, noted that the airports are the Nnamdi Azikike international airport Abuja, Murtala Mohammed international airport Lagos and the Kaduna airport.

The presidential business forum was established to provide an opportunity for the economic management team to interact with members of the organised private sector.

The forum which is the fifth since inception addressed issues in the various sectors of the economy.

The vice president explained that the neglect of the country's airports over the years makes it imperative for the concession.

He said the decision that got the approval of the federal economic council will also facilitate ease of doing business in Nigeria.

Professor Osinbajo noted that government is focused and determined to achieve all its objectives in addressing the economic challenges.
