The States (Parliament) of the British Channel Island of Jersey has ratified a Double Taxation Agreement, DTA, with the United Arab Emirates.

"This unanimous decision by the States finalizes the legal procedures in Jersey for the implementation of this agreement," the island's Minister for External Relations, Senator Sir Philip Bailhache, told WAM.
"We place a high priority on the further development of our relations with the UAE, and this is an important step in that process," Sir Philip said. ■
