Cyprus and Kuwait signed several deals

Cooperation between Cyprus and Kuwait on investment and further enhancement of bilateral relations were discussed during talks in Kuwait between President Anastasiades and the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Later on a number of agreements were signed between Cyprus and Kuwait. The Cypriot delegation comprises Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides, Finance Minister Haris Georgiades and Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minister Giorgos Lakkotrypis.

According to an official press release, an Agreement of Cooperation to Combat Terrorism, Organized Crime, Illegal Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Traffic, Illegal Immigration and other Offence was signed by the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cyprus and the Interior Minister of Kuwait.

The Foreign Ministers of the two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Political Consultations between the two Foreign Ministries.

Minister Lakkotrypis and Commerce and Industry Minister of Kuwait signed an Agreement on Tourism.

Finance Minister of the Republic of Cyprus and Finance and Oil Minister of Kuwait, who is Acting Education Minister, signed an Agreement on Higher Education and Science.

Finance Minister of Cyprus and Health Minister of Kuwait signed an Agreement on Public Health and Medical Science.

The Foreign Ministers of the two countries signed an Agreement on Technical Arrangements with regard to the arrival and departure of citizens of Kuwait and Cyprus during evacuation operations.

Cyprus News Agency Board of Directors Chairman Larkos Larkou and Chairman of the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Board signed an Agreement of Cooperation between the two News Agencies.
