Foreign Ministry Spokesman Gao Feng told a press conference that the Chinese Government is concerned about the decision because India has abused the argument of national security to impose restrictions on Chinese companies.

He added that Beijing always asks domestic companies with business abroad to comply with global rules and those of the countries where they operate.

India's action will not only damage the interests and legitimate rights of Chinese investors and service providers, but it will also affect its consumers and the climate of business as an open economy.

Gao urged India to revoke that decision, work together for mutually beneficial economic-commercial cooperation, and maintain the achievements made over the past few years.
