Bilateral air services agreement between Mauritius and Australia

The government of Mauritius and the government of Australia will sign a Bilateral Air Services Agreement on February 4, 2016.

The agreement will be signed by the Secretary to Cabinet and Head of the Civil Service, Mr S. Seebaluck.

The agreement provides, inter alia, for multiple designation of airlines and designated airlines of each country being entitled to operate up to seven weekly frequencies on the Mauritius/Australia route to/from Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

It also makes provision for the fifth freedom traffic rights for the designated airlines of both countries at certain points.
