The diplomatic missions of Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan in Czechia will hold a seminar "Foreign economic relations with the countries of the Customs Union in the context of the World Trade Organization and the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union" in Prague and Brno on April 28-29. Partaking in the event will be experts from three capital cities, Minsk, Moscow, and Astana.

Minsk will host a session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on 29 April. President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus will hold bilateral negotiations with President Vladimir Putin of Russia.

In his address to the Belarusian parliament and the nation Alexander Lukashenko noted that during these meetings Belarus will continue insisting on the elimination of all the restrictions in the Eurasian Economic Union. The head of state emphasized that the issue should be settled before the Eurasian Economic Union treaty is signed.

"We expect that the Minsk summit will speed up the development of the integration project since it will discuss the main areas of cooperation in the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space and will examine the Eurasian Economic Union treaty that is expected to come into force on 1 January 2015. No doubts, we want to get a positive result and believe that the interests of all the sides will be taken into consideration," Ambassador of Belarus to the Czech Republic Vasily Markovich noted.

The Ambassador emphasized that many things depend on the results of the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the meeting between the heads of Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan. "The efficiency of our cooperation with Czech investors and partners also depends on these results," Vasily Markovich explained.
