Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Rumas said on Tuesday that his country expects to sign a partnership agreement with the European Union (EU).

Belarus is convinced that this program should contribute to the sustainable economic development of the Eastern European region and help to resolve emerging differences, Rumas said.
For Belarus, the EU is one of the key guarantors of stability and sustainable development in Europe, the official said.
Rumas said that trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and the EU has been steadily developing. ■
