In a decree issued on Wednesday in the Official Gazette, the extension of the prohibition of entry into the country until April 12 to foreigners not resident in Argentina was made official and the authorities instructed to coordinate a schedule of gradual entry to Argentines living abroad or people residing in the country.

Carignano explained that the new decree establishes that Argentines who are abroad will be able to enter every day by land through the points enabled as safe corridors, limited to certain number of people and hours.

According to the official, the border points to be enabled are Paso de los Libres border, located in the province of Corrientes, adjacent to Brazil; the one close to Uruguay, which is located in Gualeguaychu (Entre Rios), and that of Salta, close to Bolivia, among others.
