Chocolate Winterfest is Latrobe's wickedly delicious festival celebrating all things chocolate.

Held in the beautiful island of Tasmania, Chocolate Winterfest is situated at Latrobe, just a 10 minute drive from Devonpor. The 2018 Chocolate Winterfest Latrobe program was released, so check out what is happening and make a plan.

Join Belgium Chocolatier, Igor van Gerwen, in a Chocolate Appreciation Master Class and discover the art of tasting delectable delights as well as making a chocolate sculpture to take home. You will be sure to impress with your newly acquired skills!

For those who have enjoyed themselves a little too much, there will be a Chocolate Belly Bumper Competition. Encased in an inflatable belly bumper, maybe will you be the first to stand your ground on the lucky spot for five seconds to win a block of chocolate. Costs apply.

Join Chocolate Chess Competition. A game of strategy with victors working through a swiss style format to find the ultimate champion. Winners are rewarded with chocolate! Competition commences at 2.00 pm. Simultaneously, play in a chess display.

Everybody likes Chocolate Mousse Mayhem where teams of two will feed each other delicious chocolate mousse whilst blindfolded.

Guess how many chocolates in the gumboot with one lucky person who guesses correctly to win the chocolates and a $50 gift voucher at Emelda’s Shoes. Winner announced at 3.30pm.

There will also be a Sled Dog Demonstration, Husky House Snowdogs, a Mid-Winter Concert and a Chocolate cake, brownie competition, 39 different activities in total spread over 30 different stalls right across Latrobe.

The festival takes place on Sunday 12th August with an official opening on Saturday the 11th. Get fully involved with Chocolate Winterfest by participating in one of the many activities on offer!
