READ MOREThe annual celebration of all things hot chocolate is kicking off on January 19 and runs until February 14, 2019, – which means you have 27 days to try all 30 of the participating ‘chocstars’ at this year’s fest, all of which are local purveyors.
Each cafe, dessert bar, and restaurant has created sugary wondrous concoctions that take classic hot chocolates to a whole new level – there will be 70 drinks in total to explore.
This year expect new flavours, new vendors, and a constant sugar high along with strategic partnerships between venues, many of them are plant-based and vegan-friendly.
This year, 74 decadent hot-chocolate flavours will be featured across 29 participating bakeries, cafés, restaurants, ice-cream parlours, and chocolate shops.
Newcomers to the 2019 festival include Beaucoup Bakery, Bjonbar Bakery, Cadeaux Bakery, Musette Caffè, Perverted Ice Cream, and Uno Gelato. ■
