Airports    Metal detectors to be replaced with the millimeter wave technology
According to that entity, after completing the technical standards and testing program, China will gradually introduce it at all airports to replace current metal detectors.

The millimeter wave human-imaging technology is the most advanced technology to guarantee security at airports because it allows to see in detail if passengers have arms, drugs or other hidden objects attached to their bodies, it recalled.

It also does not affect human health.

China started trial tests of this technology in August 2017 and will now join the United States, Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Australia and Japan in the use of this technology.
