The plan includes strengthening the readiness of the country's health care system, supporting initiatives to help businesses affected by the downturn, minimizing job losses, and helping to expand existing social protection systems.

ADB conducted an analysis of the macroeconomic situation in the country, including the risks of servicing public debt and estimated that the state debt of the republic is at a stable level with low risks, according to the ministry.

Uzbekistan has registered 7,087 confirmed coronavirus cases so far, with 20 deaths and 4,775 recoveries.
