Energy export from Europe was implemented thanks to the European trading partners and the European Commission, said the press release.
Company representatives believe that electricity import through BEI is the next step in Ukraine's integration into the European energy markets and the guarantee of fair prices for the Ukrainian consumer.
The expansion of ENTSO-E, the European Network of Transmission System Operators, by connecting the Ukrainian power system, will ensure the integration of Ukraine's electricity market into the internal EU energy market, experts said.
ENTSO-E currently represents 43 electricity transmission system operators from 36 countries across Europe. ■
