Remittances made by Tunisians living abroad added to 238.5 million dinars ($123.27 million) last month, over 241.8 million ($125 million) in January 2013, a drop of 1.4%.

The negative results of both indicators were affected mainly by the exchange rate variations. From January 2014 to January 2015 there was a slight variation of the Tunisian dinar against the euro.

The dinar exchange rate against the euro went up 3.3%, while the Tunisian currency dropped 4% against the American dollar.
