Syrian Arab Airlines will restart flights from Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), to Latakia and viceversa, starting on March 26.

Fadi Khair Bek, Head of the company's branch in the Syrian province, said the flights will be regular every Tuesday and will cover the high travel demand to the Emirates.

So far there was a weekly flight from Al Basel airport in Latakia to the UAE city of Sharjah.

Two routes will now operate between this nation and the UAE, joined by routes from Damascus to Baghdad, Moscow and other national and international locations.
