The president made clear that if the construction of the Texcoco terminal had continued, immediately paralyzed when he took office in December 2018 following a popular poll, in addition to the high cost of 300 billion pesos (almost 17 billion dollars), it would not have been completed until 2025, according to the project.

Meanwhile, the Santa Lucia facility will be inaugurated on March 21, 2022, with a saving of over 100 billion pesos (about six billion dollars), and it will be built on firm ground.

He added that his government is rehabilitating, expanding and improving the Benito Juarez Airport, and also working on the Toluca Airport to ensure its maximum use to resolve the problem of saturation as soon as possible. A video on the progress of the works at the Dos Bocas refinery was also screened, designed to ensure Mexico is self-sufficient in terms of gasoline, diesel and other fuels.
